BOTOX® Cosmetic and Neuromodulators

Botulinum toxin (often referred to by the brand name BOTOX®) is an injectable treatment that can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, including frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), crow’s feet, and forehead lines. It can also be used to treat other areas of the face, such as the chin, neck, and around the mouth. Botulinum toxin works by temporarily relaxing the muscles around the injection site, providing patients with a more refreshed and youthful facial aesthetic. Botulinum toxin comes in several formulations and brands, including BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport® and Jeuveau®, and our office can help you choose the one that is right for you. Injections are performed in-office by Dr. Avraham, and most patients require little or no downtime.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to rejuvenate by adding volume to regions of the face, such as the cheeks, jawline, lips, and areas under the eyelids. Dr. Avraham meets with each patient prior to treatment to discuss their goals. From there, he can develop a strategic treatment plan focused on optimizing facial aesthetics. Concerns that are most commonly addressed with dermal fillers include the nasolabial folds, the marionette lines, thin lips, and loss of volume around the cheek bones. While often performed as a standalone procedure, fillers can also often be used to augment the results of facial plastic surgery procedures, such as facelifts.

Microneedling is a technique that utilizes the body’s own healing mechanism to rejuvenate and improve the quality of the skin.  The microneedling device uses multiple tiny needles to puncture the outer layers of skin. In healing these tiny wounds, the body promotes the generation of elastin and collagen, key components of supple, youthful skin. Microneedling can also be used to treat sun damage, uneven pigmentation, acne scars, and surgical scars. Microneedling can be combined with other modalities to optimize your appearance.
